Hi {member_name},
Miss me ? Actually I am early with
this newsletter, but since there is so much to tell- i decided
not to wait any more. Being in the web business personally I
get to visit hundreds of websites & forums every day
myself. And the ones I like re-visiting are truly the ones
which has a clean site with minimum Ads - so that I can find
what I am looking for there without being bothered by hundreds
of Ads or pesky Popup. I was quite happy when this resolution
was taken by dTV administrators group, that dTV will also be a
clean sleek site with minimum ads - that doesn't hinder user's
experience. We know that the Ads help us earn revenue for
maintaining the site - but what good is a site if member has
problem surfing through the site. I am sure you guys and gals
will appreciate and agree with us on this. - Tublu

DiscussTV Favourite Members Contests

  Discuss
TV members contests was recently a idea brought to us by
Frozen Fairy. If I am not wrong, someone also had given this
idea to us before, but at that time was not yet the proper
moment. Now I think it will be more effective with so many
active members with their own styles and proficiency.
There is not yet a fixed date as the full rules
and categories has not been decided. But just to let you know
: there will be categories like - dTV
Picture Poster #1, dTV Serial Updater #1, dTV Gamer #1, dTV
Quizman #1 , dTV Favourite Mod, dTV Fanatic #1, dTV Designer
#1 , dTV Favourite Sig, dTV Prolific Poster, etc . The
above categories names should be explanative enough - but even
then we will give a more detailin the Site News forum later on
. Winners will be decided by YOU - through your votes. So if
you are a serial writer make your updates as cool as you can,
or if you are a Fanatic for any particular TV Show or TV Star
or TV Anchor - try to post more interesting news and snippets
or pics as you can and get noticed.

TV Serial Updates

Serial updates is nothing new on a Indian TV related website.
Most of our members are fans of several TV serials and Updates
are what allows them to stay connected with their favourite
shows. In the past few days more and more members have come up
with posting their own updates. What the heck , I myself got
into posting REMIX updates LOL . We are now proud to have many members posting updates they
write themselves for DiscussTV.com. members like rim_megha,
kali_c,
Dimps,
rumya
- you are doing a great job , i am sure many members will
agree. Also to mention - we took posting updates on dTV one
level above any other sites - giving Picture Updates along
with just the detailed summary , as in TD. In future i will do
the same with Remix. If you
write / feel you can post updates two things can happen
:

You will provide much happiness to several
members who visit the site to find their TV updates and
they will bless you do doubt :-)

group's signature will give your own group / site more
popularity and more members

One of the most awaited attractions on DiscussTV.com probably
has been TV shows / TV serials
video clips. From now on , your favourite Indian TV
website will be having TV serial videos. The best thing about
videos on DiscussTV.com is that it is FREE - No Charge,
and it is not served on any External WebPages with multiple
Ads popping in and out , and does not require you to
wait for any time for downloading it - like the other
sites. You download
from within our own site.
Just another thing to mention - we already have our own
members who contribute videos , but if you want to contribute
videos , PM Admin in the forums.

There are sites for Bollywood signatures, film stars signatures
- so we thought why not have a special section on dTV for TV
stars signatures / siggies. So keeping that in mind we have
created a special section for TV
Signatures . Many members have already put up their own
creations. If you want to , you can put it here as well or if
you want to have someone create a signature request the other
members to create one for you .

Last Words |
| I had mentioned
that some other sites now copy our style and
what we do First. On reading that , someone
reacted immediately and we had a chat after
that and I was asked - what is being copied.
Let me make it clear - there is no bad blood
and i mean no harm but I spoke about it as i
found it amusing. Just like this Newsletter -
never before sites of this genre , in past 1-2
years had such a thing... only after this colorful
Newsletter was appreciated, similar
Newsletters are being sent - just in a
different way . :-) Am I wrong in saying that
, lol .
