What is a Blog ?
According to Merriam-Webster a weblog is "a Web site that contains an online personal journal with reflections, comments, provided by the writer."  A Web Log or Blog is a web based publication of periodic articles - Wikipedia .   
But over time, it has grown into much more powerful tool / media. For some it is a diary or journal of events, whereas some have used it for propaganda, some for discoursing Articles of interests, and some to build their personal homepage. For what is worth, we agree that it allows any person to have their say on the internet without being bothered to be knowledgeable about HTML , all you need to know is how to type and a interest to share.

• Since Blogs are chronological, you will find it useful to track down what you did on a certain date 3-5 years from now
• By nature, Blogs invite feedback from other people who read your publications. Comments are the lifeblood of a Blog and by comments to and from you will be able to make more friends than you could ever imagine.
• Blogs are often classified by several Blog directories and search engines and especially a Blog gets very quick entry to the search engines, thus making your personal page famous quickly. So if you have a specific interest, your Blog will often be found among several others having the same interest as yours.

In the past few days, several big things have come up. To start with .... Fame Gurukul the big talent hunt show on SONY reached its verdict and Ruprekha and Qazi became the first ever Fame Gurukul champions. Congratulations to both of them. Not to be left behind , star one came up with their Reality show and that too with married celebs as participants. 10 married TV Jodis will compete in Nach Baliye , the dancing competition. But with the introduction of Nach Baliye, the axe fell on a multiple of Star One shows which were quite popular as well. Celebs are actually nowadays everywhere - be it dramas , in Game Shows, in Sports Commentary and what not. The latest entry in Zee TV is Saat Phere and revival of Hum Paanch. The fresh and spicy Desperate Housewives is running successfully in Star World along with a host of other new programmes like 8 Simple Rules, Seinfield, Monk, Smallville.     

 
We understand that several of our members want to download TV shows / TV serials video clips. From the past few weeks we have started uploading TV serial videos. The best thing about videos on DiscussTV.com is that it is FREE - No Charge, and it is not served on any External WebPages with multiple Ads popping in and out  , and does not require you to wait for any time for downloading it - like the other sites. Active or Inactive 

We have seen several active members join in the recent past, although i would have liked to name all of you , I currently recall 2-3 names like blue_rose, devilish_angel, rim_megha, ashirox, cheetosblue etc. Members like you make the forum interesting. On the same note, i noticed 1-2 forums are going totally haywire ... like the Fashion on TV and Movies on TV. We need to reshape them up properly. So those who are interested to help out in any way contact us  HERE. We are also feeling the need to have a new group of Team members and Mods - people who are really dedicated to TV shows.
