Does Greg Chappel really want good for Indian cricket?? I have my doubts... The team was doing so well until the time he came and disrupted a well settled team... He was the root cause of all controversies that arose and had full backing of the selcectors (More) - who incidentally is associated with Chappel's academyin Aus... With his weird experimentations and rigid mindset, he has created all confusion in the team \, with no set role defined for any player... One day u see a bowler(Pathan) opening the batting, the other day u have the opener(Shewag) coming in the middle order, then Dhoni who was scoring so well comes in the lower order... Its high time the players were given set roles and a little security as to their place in the side... I seriously think that he came with the motive to destroy the team - the team that could potential challenge Australia as the World Champions... I would love to see an Indian coach our team - a player like Kapil Dev is being wasted by the BCCI's desire to run after foreigners...

I kind agree that India seemed to be the one who could challenge the Aussies, based on the form then, Soon, appointment of Greg, kinda led to the fact that "Numero Uno" dream wasnt far behind which looked possible after victory over minnow teams. But then player outbursts, emails, etc happened which accompanied loss of form of inform players and injuries to key players.

When it comes to batting order, Im clueless! I find except for Sachin/Sreesanth/RP Singh/Munaf, no other player seems to have a fixed slot or rather a well defined role! May be It has provided Irfan and others essential batting practice but with the kind of rotation policy in place ... nothing our heads rotate!

In short, its a bit too difficult to say where we stand! tongue.gif
