India took the lead in the five match ODI series by winning the first ODI by 5 wickets. Chasing 240 for a win, India managed to surpass the target with 3 overs to spare! Pakistan's Mohammad Yousuf top scored in the match with an unbeated 83 with Salman Butt scoring a 50, Pakistan's second best! For India Dhoni 63, Yuvraj 58 scored half centuries.

Loved Yousuf's performance in the match. Yuvraj-Dhoni partnership was very enjoyable too.

I irritated the boys of my class by asking them the score after every five minutes. In the end, one of them gave me his cell and was like "Yeh rakho...jab thak jao score pata kar kar k tou wapis kar dena"
In the next match, I'm gonna skip school

india made a total of 321 for 9...n sachin scored 99...
pak didnt luk gud in start but managed to do so...younis scored 117 only from 113 ballz! fantastic...n salman butt scored 37...misbah 49...
itz waz a fabulous match!!!!!! i jus luvvvvvvvvveeeedddd it!

Pakistan kept their nerves at the end, and won the second ODI by 4 wickets. Pakistan were slower in chasing the target initially, but had wickets to spare and went all guns blazing towards the end. Afridi making yet another cameo!
India posted 321 with Sachin scoring a 99 and Harbhajan Singh scoring useful runs at the end.

Series tied at 1-1.

Yeah. Pak won. I didnt skip school though..had to get my marksheet!
Afridi and Younis were awesome. Sachin played vry well too. Enjoyed the match a lot!

India emerged the better team in the third ODI, beating Pakistan by 46 runs. India amassed 294 thanks to a combined team effort with Yuvraj topscoring with 77 runs. In reply Pakistan managed 248, with Salman Butt's century going in vain. RP Singh took 4 wickets for India.
India take a 2-1 lead in the series.

wow..I loved the match ..though I didn't watch India's innings coz I was travelling then.

Set a target of 256 for a win, Sachin Tendulkar hit a stunning 97 as India rallied to beat Pakistan by six wickets at Gwalior and clinch the ODI series with a game spare. This win is the first win over them on home soil since 1983.
Pakistan compiled 255 with M Yousuf scoring an unbeaten 99 and Younis Khan ' 68.
India had other useful contributions from Sehwag (43), Dhoni unbeaten on 45 and Yuvraj's unbeaten 53.

that was a fabulous match...but I can't believe Sachin got out on 97 .....again
