Before Garv can ask for Kumud's hand, Abhay and Kkusum tell Garv to sort out his differences with Kali and reconcile with her. Garv leaves from there not knowing what to do. Vidhi plays a catalyst by coaxing kumud to speak her heart out. Kumud is torn between her true love and her responsibility towards her family. Abhay overhears a conversation between Garv and Kumud and is shocked to know that they still love each other. Kumud calls up Kshitij and asks him to meet her.

Yea, I cant believe Mahi's alive.
I wonder is Ekta still bringing Sohan back.
I have been hearing this rumor for a long time now.
I hope it doesnt turn out to be a rumor; and Sohan really does come back. I know: very unlikely. But Ekta can do anything.

By the way, is Nausheen coming back?
I heard she's still having problems playing a role as the mother of Kumud. Kkusum is getting really boring.

Im really happy that Kumud and Kshitij finally got married.
I hope Kumud forgets Garv and accepts Kshitij.

Abhay goes to the mill where he sees a lady in silhouette and thinks that its Kkusum but when he goes near her, that lady turns out to be someone else. ACP Saket arrests Abhay for helping a criminal escape. Abhay is shocked to hear that Kali has informed Saket about this .Its revealed that Trishul had hired that lady to pose as Kkusum. Abhay calls Garv for help and is able to get a bail. When he reaches home he has a confrontation with Kali. Kali gets upset and leaves the house. Everyone including Kumud is worried as to where has Kali gone. When Kumud goes to her place, she is shocked to see Kali there with Nakul.

Neelam supports Kali’s decision on staying at oberoi’s house. Kumud is not happy with Kali coming to stay there before marriage. Neelam fixes Kali and Nakul’s engagement that very evening. Abhay is sitting with Garv in a restaurant when they see the same woman who had posed as Kkusum. Garv tries to catch her but she gets lost in the crowd. Abhay makes the mistake of telling all this to Trishul.

At Kali and Nakul’s engagement party, Abhay sees Nakul talking to a woman who seems like his ex-girl friend. Abhay gets angry with Nakul and decides to call off the engagement. But Kali stops him from doing so and saves Nakul by saying that the female is a common friend. Abhay is shocked to see that same lady who posed as Kkusum there but when he tells this to everyone, nobody believes him. Aryaman tells Abhay that the lady is his old clients wife Gayatri Dixit. Abhay is really upset and frustrated with the entire incident. It is revealed that Trishul pays a lot of money to Gayatri. Trishul asks her to stay away from Abhay and Garv.

Everybody in the Kapoor house believes that its Trishul who caught hold of Gayatri. Abhay is sent to Delhi on some business trip by Trishul. Garv confronts Trishul and says that he will go and meet Tashu in jail. Trishul panics and plans an accident for Garv so that he is not able to discover the fact that Tashu never went to jail. Garv meets with the accident and Kshitij who was also going on the same route rushes him to the hospital. In the hospital, Kumud bumps into a woman and is shocked to see that its Mahi. Garv tells Kumud that it wasnt an accident but a well planned ploy by Trishul. Kumud is shocked.

Garv asks Kumud to go to jail and meet Tashu but Kumud discovers to her shock that Tashu was never arrested. She goes to Tashu's house with Garv where Trishul is there with Mahi. They try hiding but Kumud sees Mahi while she tries to escape.When Kumud reaches home and informs the family about Mahi, Sarla intervenes and says that they all are aware of Mahi's presence. Kumud is shocked to see Mahi in the house. Mahi tells everyone that she was kidnapped by Tashu and was in her imprisonment for all these months. Mahi pretends to be extremely upset about not being with the family for all this while. She sees Abhay and Kkusum's picture and her hatred for Kkusum is revealed.

Kumud gets upset as she feels that because of Mahi's presence, no one is thinking about Kkusum. Kali overhears Kumud talking to Garv and tries to create misunderstanding between Kumud and Kshitij. Mahi and Trishul are happy as their is getting successful. Tashu calls Mahi and tells her that she is in India. Trishul gets mad at Tashu for returning to India as it can be risky. Trishul rushes to meet Tashu and is shocked to see Garv at Tashu's house. Garv confronts Trishul and accuses him of trying to destroy Kapoor family. Trishul accepts this fact and Kumud hears this. She is further shocked to know that it was Trishul who had killed Sohan. Garv calls Saket who had been listening and recording this whole conversation. Trishul tries to escape and comes in front of Abhay's car, he tries to cook up some story to tell Abhay but Abhay slaps him as he knows the truth now. Police comes and arrests him. It is revealed that Tashu is still in Malaysia and it was some other woman who posed as Tashu on phone. It was actually Mahi who dropped clues for Garv so that he can get Trishul arrested.

Sarla goes to Kumud's house and tries to convince Kali to come back home but she refuses. Mahi comes to know that Kali is staying at Kumud's house and she fights with Sarla and Abhay holding them responsible for not taking proper care of her daughter during her absence. Mahi goes to meet Kali and Kali complains to her about everything that has happenned. Mahi confronts Abhay and tells everyone that if Kali does not come back, she will also leave the house.

Kumud thinks of going to kapoor house, she tell mahi I want to talk to u . mahi says aru tell kumud I don’t want to talk as let her not come in future to9 kapoor hosue.let her meet her father out. Mahi is angry, sarla says good happened asks abhay where u went mahi says we went to temple. Sarla says good god u came back pray god kkusum comes back. Mahi angry. And goes. Abhay looks at her. Abhay sleeping on chair he hears kkusum calling him he looks mahi’s pic with him he imagines kkusum says I wanted to give u my wife’s place but every time I could not do so. Abhay thinks of kkusum flash back scenes. mahi holds abhay. abhay looks at her. End

Mahi and Kumud get into an argument and Mahi slaps Kumud. Abhay is hurt to see this and he tries to make Mahi understand that both Kumud and Kali mean the same to him and loves both of them equally. Mahi gets emotional and tells Abhay that she cannot feel the same love from Abhay anymore. She tells Abhay that she does not want to stay in the kapoor house. Abhay tries to convince her but she asks him to prove his acceptance and love for her. In a state of dilemma, Abhay agrees. On their way to home, Abhay and Mahi are shocked to see Nakul kissing a girl.

ACP Saket tells Abhay that a woman has been found in Chennai and it can be Kkusum. Abhay decides to go to Chennai to look for Kusum. When he is all set to go, Saket calls him up and tells him that Kkusum's body has been found. Everyone is convinced that Kkusum is dead but Abhay refuses to believe it. He is upset and wondering where Kkusum is as he is sure that she is alive. Abhay meets with an accident.

Kkusum on the other hand gets up with a shock shouting Abhay. She is in a hospital in Chennai where she was found by some fishermen. Dr. Pranay not only gave her life but also a new face as her face was completely damaged. Kkusum is suffering from amnesia and can only sense a strange connection with words like Abhay and Aai…..not knowing who they are and what they mean to her. On basis of some clues, Abhay goes to Chennai to look for Kkusum. Dr. Pranay decides to take Kkusum to Mumbai for further treatment.

She feels a strange connection with some things and tries to remember her past but in vain. Aai comes to meet Abhay and bumps into Kkusum. Kkusum again gets some unclear visuals of her past. She feels the connection strongly but fails to identify her own mother. Abhay is really upset as contrary to everyone in the family; he still thinks that Kkusum is alive. Kkusum overhears Dr. Pranay talking to another doctor that she has been given a new face and that no one can recognize her now. Kkusum gets extremely upset to hear this. She leaves the hospital. Destiny gets her to Aai’s house where she sees kkusum’s photo now knowing that it’s no one else but her. :bouncy:

Aai asks Kkusum to be comfortable and feel at home. Kkusum goes on listening to Aai when she is talking about her daughter who is no more in this world. Unaware of their relationship, Aai and Kkusum feel the bond between them. Kapoor family convinces Abhay that Kkusum is dead and ask him to do the ‘asthi visarjan’ as it is said to give peace to the soul. Abhay agrees to do it but his heart still believes that Kkusum is alive. Destiny again gets Kkusum and Abhay together and this time in front of the God…. Abhay Kkusum stand next to each other praying in the temple.

Kusum decides to start life afresh and take up a job but she faces rejections from everywhere, as she has no proof of her education and identity. Mahi tells Abhay that Kali wants to work and open a jewellery store of her own; they must support their daughter. Abhay agrees happily. Kkusum witnesses an accident on the road and sees the crowd blaming a wrong person who is none other than Kali. Crowd is against her but Kkusum gives her statement to police and saves Kali. Abhay is shocked when she introduces herself to him saying that she is Kkusum.

Abhay is further shocked to see Aai with Kkusum but Aai explains to him that she has given this name to her, as she does not remember anything about her and her past. When Abhay comes to know that she is looking for a job, he offers her a job in his company. Abhay is disturbed with the fact that Kumud and Kshitij are coming back from their trip, he is worried as to how will Kumud be able to take her mother’s death. Kumud is shocked to see garland on Kkusum’s photo.

A grand party is thrown with celebrities walking the ramp showing the jewellery collection. The show is dedicated to Kkusum deshmukh. Kkusum makes Abhay walk the ramp and everyone is surprised. Mahi gets uncomfortable with Abhay and Kkusum’s interaction. :devilish grin:

The blackmailer keeps calling Mahi in the party, Kkusum sees that man and gets suspicious. She follows him and reaches a room where she is shocked to see that Mahi has killed that man. Kkusum remembers how Mahi had died falling from the same place. Lot of things from past start coming to her mind and she faints. Kumud also reaches there and she takes Kkusum to a hospital with Mahi. Kumud calls ACP Saket there as she is suspicious about Kkusum and her intentions. Kkusum regains her memory and gets scared on seeing Saket as she thinks that she is still running away from police. Unaware of her face change, she thinks that she still has to prove heself innocent to the world. Abhay and Kali reach the hospital but Kkusum runs away from there. :sleep:

Kkusum calls Abhay and asks him to come and meet her at the mandir. Abhay goes there and just when Kkusum is about to go to Abhay, she sees a policeman and hides thinking he will arrest her. Abhay keeps looking around for Kkusum but unable to find her, he comes back. Kkusum feels helpless. Kkusum decides to go and meet Aai but she is not able to explain and convince her that she is her own daughter Kkusum. She is shocked to see garland on her photo but when she sees herself in the mirror, she realizes that she no more has her own face.

Mahi decides to throw a party for celebrating the successful launch of Kali’s store. Kumud tells Abhay that she also wants to join work. In the party, Kkusum gets emotional to see Mahi and Abhay dancing together. She feels very upset and does not know what to do. Mahi gets a call from a woman who claims to be Kkusum and she calls Mahi to her room. When Mahi reaches the room, she does not find anyone there but sees a note, which says that Kkusum is back and she wants her place in the house. Mahi is shocked.

Thinking that Abhinav has told Abhay the truth of her identity, Kkusum goes to meet Abhay. She is shocked to realize that Abhay is still unaware of the truth and thus is full of hatred towards her. Kkusum gets really upset and confronts Abhinav for lying to her that he has told everything to Abhay. Kkusum accuses Abhainav for not helping her when she is going out of the way to help his daughter. Abhinav on the other hand is told my Mahi and ACP Saket that the woman he thinks is Kkusum is actually Swati Gautam. Kkusum goes to Kanak jewels where she meets Armaan who has come to buy an engagement ring for Jassi. Kkusum helps him select a beautiful yet simple ring, just the kind he wanted for Jassi.
